Yep, those are my three kids sitting on the table. Your eyes do not fool you, they are all eating popsicles and yes they are all staring at the television. At least I managed to have 2 out of the 3 fully dressed….
As they say perched on the edge of the table, I sat at the kitchen island and enjoyed a cup of tea. I watched them, it was amazing. They sat in a row, not pushing or pulling each other, happily enjoying their post dinner treat while staring at some cartoon that I am sure they have seen many times before. But the most significant thing about this is that they were quiet. Quiet in my house is a rarity and it was wonderful.

Sounds heavenly. I was just thinking how much I would like to just lie in bed for as long as I wanted one day…any time of day would be fine.
